Just PlayerPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Just Player ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App on iPhone and iPad.
1. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- We do not upload the audio, lyric (LRC) or other files you import. They are stored only in the App's folder on your device.
- We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
2. Anonymous usage statistics
To understand which features are useful and how to improve the App, we use Aptabase, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool, running on a server operated by us. It collects:

This data is anonymous: it is not linked to your identity, no persistent device identifier is used, and sessions are identified only by a random, temporary ID. Your IP address may be used briefly to determine an approximate country and is not stored.
Only the file name is collected — never the file's content. If you prefer, you can rename files before playing them.
3. Wi-Fi transfer and local network
When you turn on Wi-Fi Transfer, the App starts a temporary web server on your device so that a computer on the same local network can upload files to it. Files are transferred directly between your devices and never pass through our servers. iOS will ask for Local Network permission for this feature; you can change it at any time in Settings.
4. Files app and document import
Files you import from the iOS Files app or share to Just Player from other apps are copied into the App's own folder on your device. We do not access any other files.
5. In-app purchases
If you make a purchase, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. We may record an anonymous event that a purchase occurred (product ID only) to understand product performance.
6. Data retention and security
Anonymous usage statistics are kept only as long as needed for analysis and are stored on a secured server with access limited to the developer. Files on your device are kept until you delete them or uninstall the App.
7. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing. We may disclose information only if required by law.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices and rights
Because the statistics we collect are anonymous and not linked to you, we usually cannot identify data belonging to a specific person. If you have any request or question regarding your data (including under GDPR or CCPA), please contact us and we will do our best to help.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated effective date.
